If you're looking for Oktoberfest dancers, it doesn't matter if you're throwing a private party, running a corporate event, a club function or even a large civic festival, we can provide the entertainment you need. Just grab your Lederhosen or Dirndl and lift a glass of Oktoberfest beer while our group performs folk dances from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
We'll put together waltzes, polkas, the German Schuhplattler, the Austrian Laendler and, of course, the Chicken Dance, to create just the right mood for an Oktoberfest celebration. A bit of history...
Oktoberfest can trace its origins back to the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig of the Kingdom of Bavaria and Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen on October 12, 1810. The wedding celebrations started with a parade and went on for days, finally ending in a horse race. The parade and race were continued in subsequent years, an agricultural fair and costume exhibition were added, and in the late 19th century the Munich brewers made their appearance at Oktoberfest. Today more than six million people attend the Munich festival and manage to consume over a million and a half gallons of beer.
